Eight female lacrosse athletes performed maximal pulls at 3 different positions (low: above patella, mid: midthigh, high: crease hip) while motion capture GRF data were recorded. Net calculated with inverse dynamics. Relative muscle defined ratio between dynamics NJMs maximum theoretical NJMs, which estimated regression-based moment-angle models. Peak NJM RME compared 2-way analyses variance (ANOVA), whereas GRFS a 1-way ANOVA. significantly greater in mid than high but did not differ low position. Bar influenced peak knee RME. Hip greatest position, Because extensor differed positions, not, joint-specific contributions likely reflected trade-off dominance respectively. This information should be considered interpretation their use assessing monitoring force-producing capacity lower body.
